The President Of The Association
Mr John

Chairman . Mr Norman

Patrons:
Dr Michael Woods, TD.
Ato Haile

The Irish Ethiopian Friendship Association
brings together people who have an interest in Ethiopia,
with the aim of expanding and enriching
existing ties of
friendship between the two countries through:-
Expanding information and awareness
Increasing cultural exchange and
links
Supporting specific development initiatives
Initiating our own projects.
I.E.F.A. was launched by a small group of
people with long established ties with Ethiopia.
It was felt that there is a great fund of
goodwill in Ireland among many people who have
worked
there and the increasing number of tourists who
have become captivated by the country and its people.
We do not wish to duplicate the good work
being carried out by Irish NGO's, but rather seek niche
opportunities to help individuals and small groups to
improve their lives.
For the foreseeable future we intend to
operate on a voluntary footing, thus ensuring that the maximum
benefit will be delivered from Subscriptions/donations/grants.
Haile Gebresellasie welcomes
you
