ACTIVITIES

I.E.F.A is currently engaged in,

Collecting and transporting second hand wheelchairs.

Collecting and transporting other appropriate medical and educational materials.

Fundraising to purchase a simulator in support of medical training of the Black Lion Hospital in Addis Ababa.

Supporting the development of a local N G O established by and for visually impaired people in Addis Ababa.

Facilitating the making of films aimed at portraying the positive in contrast to the usual media coverage.

Supporting young woman's education and in particular the encouragement of girls to continue at school in the more remote parts of the country.

Assisting the Ethiopian Community in Ireland in finding a suitable location at which to worship in their distinctive manner (Ethiopian Orthodox Church).
